Who's On First?

Greetings, everyone! It's our first post, so it's quite a honor to be the host of such an exciting event (as if they'd pick anyone else).

Of course, there was always the question of what adventures to share first ... the trip down the Nile ...

.... treasure hunting in the Far Islands ... a river rafting trip a la Tom Sawyer ...

So we decided not to begin this blog with any of them! That way, you can savor the anticipation for weeks, while waiting to see what happens next.

Just to keep you from getting bored, I've thrown in a photo of me dressed in a cape, intent on saving the world (much better than those dumb photos of cats on the other blog, right?)

Meanwhile, I'll be combing through my old journals, some photo albums, and a few memento boxes as I decide what adventure should be first on the blog ... maybe I'll tell you the story about the time the boys and I were lost in the jungle for a week ...
